I'm pretty sure the Injustice Gods Among Us comic wasn't trying to reference My Little Pony, not every time something mentions "ponies" is a reference to MLP of any generation. It was just Wonder Woman insulting her Arch-Nemesis in a hilarious way.

The general consensus (or at least what I'm thinking) on the Nightmare Moon scene seems to be that Twilight is somehow reliving events of the past and is seeing Luna's original Face Heel Turn. Luna is talking about "precious light" and all that, and it'd be a major Character Derailment for her to be jealous of Twilight and go back to being Nightmare Moon now.

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon now have "Making Fun of the Handicapped" on their bully resume. Part of me always hoped that one day, there will be an episode where the CMC can make friends with DATASS. It is not this day.

And Amy Keating Rogers has confirmed that to be a musical Pinkie episode.

No she didn't. only that there WOULD be a musical episode focused on Pinkie, not that it was that specific episode.

A musical Pinkie Pie episode? Actually, that's brilliant, because she's the one pony in the cast who loves to sing.

I have to admit, that clip really had me going there with the possibility of Nightmare Moon returning. This is going to be intriguing, seeing the scenes that led to Luna becoming NMM. <Smiles and Nods>

Maybe the Applejack/Pinkie episode will be one of those that try to experiment with two characters no one considered would work well. Kind of like the K-On!! episode of Ritsu/Mugi.

Pinkie and Big Mac got married between seasons for health insurance purposes, so now she's accompanying them to the next Apple family reunion to keep up the charade while actually falling for Applejack, who is totally oblivious.

No! The only ponies that Big Mac marries are either Twilight or Luna! Or both, if they're feeling particularly frisky.

I sometimes think of "A Friend in Deed" as "Pinkie Pie: The Musical" because Pinkie actually does quite a bit of singing in it, though besides "Smile, Smile, Smile" its mostly short diddles, so I guess its not a true Musical Episode.

Completely unrelated, but I like how in the 24 hours since Peter Capaldi was announced as the 12th Doctor, I've seen like 4 or 5 different 12th Doctor Whooves drawings, including one from Clockwise, despite the fact we haven't seen 12 in character/costume yet, just the actor. Ah, when fandoms collide...

Fan pairings, there's a couple few in every fan base no matter what it is or how popular a series is.

You know how I was disappointed that I couldn't find an Octavia/Celestia shipfic? Well guess what? I found an Octavia/Luna one, and now I'm mad.

Yeah, that Fleetfoot Imagine Spot was hilarious, if only for how it came out of nowhere and then vanished.

He was also the father of the Roman family the 10th Doctor and Donna rescued in Pompeii.

Heh, well, that's almost traditional for Doctor's at this point. Several of them have either run into duplicates, or ended being played by actors that already had a previous role.

So, how long till we get his ponification?
