The nazi penguin thing is because the A Nazi by Any Other Name Page mention a group of penguin supremacists that wanted to exterminate all the impure non-antarctic life by creating an endless ice age, and were clear Nazi homages in the process. I wonder if there ponies that think every penguin act that way!

Only king was darwinist and racist toward non cold climate creatures. Rest was quite normal, just served that insane ruler, probably not fully aware off all his insanity.

I feel in similar way about Kaleds from Doctor Who, that only Darvos (and his lieutenant) were nazi like.

Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

He goes by King Charlatan, so he already has a name.

Aside from the monsters he leases on the ponies, the guards and workers seemed pretty nice guys and they acted pretty disconcerted when he froze his son. In contrast to most of the other races who are apathetic at best and usually hostile. The mountain elves stand out as being pretty dickish.

It looked like they were about to rebel soon if he didn't changed (villain minions always rebel in this show).

In end that king wasn't that bad, stopped all cold and refroze everyone.
