Today's been a strange trip to memory lane again. Saw one guy getting chewed out by his officer for various reasons.

Say, have any of you seen the Japanese dub of MLPFIM? I saw a number of the episodes on YouTube, and they're pretty interesting to see. When it comes to dubbing, I'm frankly glad that changes in the dialogue and cutting out scenes are not just a North American thing. I guess Japan and North America are not so different when it comes to dubbing practices.

Apple Bloom is being voiced by Ikue Ohtani, and that's Pikachu's voice from Pokemon, in case you didn't know. She is pretty cute to listen to, and fans are already nicknaming her "Pikabloom". I'm surprised nobody's suggested "Applechu".

Been watching Chocoreichan's subs, she moved her collection from youtube to dailymotion after getting hit by the copyright takedown stick.

I've only seen the theme song dub. Not sure I want to see the whole thing. (I can't at this point.)

@Applelight: Tell him about Uni or something. I dunno. If he's really a good friend, he won't care too much about what you've been up do. Same deal for the lack of romance. It really shouldn't be a big deal. You had other stuff to worry about.

Is this really necessary? It doesn't seem to cover anything that this thread doesn't, and this thread isn't so active that we can't hold any discussions. It's just that we've talked about everything so much.

I'm actually worried more about embarrassing him in front his newer friends. Having to make him say hey everyone here's my friend who watches a cartoon about magical ponies, who only goes out with his dad and who's went all the current decade without proper female company.

Like I said, my life has sort if went to shot over the last couple/few years.

Eh, just ask him not to make a big deal about it. If he's a real friend, he won't make it awkward for you.
