That's my dream. It's my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight razor … and surviving.

Freeman, you have no idea how much I'd want to give a kind hug.
Anyways... pony-related question... let's see... Four ponies you'd bring along in a wagon (oxen included, so no seedy ideas!) on a trip to Oregon?
It's a Demonic Lighthouse Slide! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I beg of you, Durza, make it so.

Oregon Trail? I don't know if I want my pony friends to die of dysentery, but AJ's as good as any.
Are we talking just a trip, or going there to do something? Because if this is like, 'go set up a homestead', I'd say AJ, Twilight, Rarity and Pinkie. Pinkie and AJ both have experience farming and building, Rarity could help with the finer work required for equipment(As well as attract, uh... investors to help the farm expand), and Twilight's got the know-how to keep the whole thing running.
If it was just a trip... maybe swap Pinkie for Fluttershy? I get the feeling that Pinkie would be insufferable on a long trip...
Also I'm now imagining Rarity giving 'southern belle' lessons to Twilight, Pinkie and AJ.
AJ is kind of a given, what with her farming knowledge. Twilight would have plenty of info as well, although she might have trouble on the journey itself. Fluttershy, as noted would be pretty helpful for dealing with animals. RD would be extremely helpful for protecting the group from bad weather and making sure water doesn't run out. If I wanted to cheat I'd just list four pegasi, because they could haul the cart faster than the oxen could.
What is this?
Also Bridesmaid Mane Six. Might be their outfits in the finale. I really like their manes.
OH NO. I DOUBLE POSTED. THIS IS TERRIBLE. YOU HAVE BETRAYED ME SLOW THREAD.
Not just a squirrel, a falling squirrel.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
