... I just had a thought.

Because the EG universe had alternate versions of everyone (but seemingly Twilight), that means that selfcest is now completely justified.

Actually, the movie implies there is an Alternate Universe Twilight. Its Sunset who's apparently without a visibly Alternate Self.

Okay, i think I Have an idea on how to go with chapter 56:

The ponies get chased by Typhon until they are close to the gates. But there is some obstacle that prevents them from reaching them before Typhon catches up. (Being covered iN wings would make someone fast, no?)
- Rainbow Dash offer to pull a You Shall Not Pass on Typhon and distract him long enough for the others to escape.
  - The ponies refuse to leave Rainbow Dash and instead help her confront the beast.
- Alternately RD already is distracting Typhon but is wounded or rendered unable to fly or gallop in the process, and still invokes You Shall Not Pass to make sure the others escape
  - In this case. No One Gets Left Behind get used like in the description; Her friends get her to the gates instead of fighting Typhon.

thoughts? and FYI I think this is to test the ponies dedication to each other. (This was agin posted on the fanfic thread, I;m just covering my bases)

I think the second is a bit more interesting of a resolution than the first. And it fits the theme of 'No one gets left behind' a bit better, since a wounded ally would be more of a burden and make it more difficult for them to escape.
