I am not sure what the "irrational exuberance" tag even means. Just that it's usually (if not always) applied to Lyra.

I don't mean to sound grouchy, but am I the only one who thinks that this show has way too many main charactors? You got the mane 6, Spike and the CMC's. 10 main charactors overall. There are some shows that can pull this off like Firefly {Which had 9 main charactors}, but that show's episodes were about 44 minutes long despite there being only 14 episodes {And a movie}, leaving almost equal focus for everyone, whereas this show's episodes are 21 minutes long, and the shortend amount of episodes for S3 didn't help matters either.

What I'm trying to get at is that when you have too many main charactors in a show like this, someone is gonna end up getting shafted in eatch season and reduced to a supporting charactor. First AJ {And Spike to an extent, even though he actually got two episodes in this season, but he was left out of a lot of episodes. Poor guy didn't even get invited to Twilight's birthday party} in S2, and now I can't help but think that this is one of the reasons why poor Rarity got shafted in S3, given how literally everyone else had an episode to themselves except for her.
