@Apple, I say do it, but only start with a few of the more major characters, like 2-3 of them and go from there, you KNOW we'll love it and if it helps, go for it. I'd love to see it.

@NES gamer: I don't think there's a G4 pony who loves wearing socks, but that is a major trait of Minty from G3. So if she was in G4, she might still have that interest and Rarity would get a lot of business from her because she would buy lots of special socks from Carousel Boutique.

@Applelight: It's a good idea, but I'd only do it for one or two characters. There are two reasons for this:

1. It lets you focus; trying to juggle three or four sockpuppets would get tiring really quickly, and this way it'll let you iron out one or two characters more completely.

2. Creating sockpuppets in batches tends to look suspicious, since the majority of posters who do that do so for trolling or ban-evasion purposes.

TL;DR just make a sock for the main character and build from there.

I don't know why they wouldn't it's not like she's the head comic writer or anything.

Alternately: do a sockpuppet for the airship and then have the crew members chip in script style.

I've always wanted to do one for Minty, she'd be fun to do. The only hard part would be getting her brand of ditzieness down. Oh, and finding an avatar.

I like this idea. Or rather, have one "ship console" account, and then the different characters can take turns.

Yeah like JT said, just do one, maybe two of the charcters, Start with Fancy, and maybe Coconut or Batty.

Also, well not like Cook/Price do every issue of the main Pony comic either.

I've never really considered sockpuppeting, but I'd say go for it if that's what you want, apple.

Cook/Price did the first four main issues, and the Rarity micro. They're doing a few later issues (Forget exactly which), but those aren't out yet.

I actually have like half a dozen sockpuppets, but only one or two of them are relevant to this thread.

No, but I do think you need to do it from a separate IP address then your existing account.

I believe you need an email for a new account. Not sure how it functions; all of my accounts predate that rule.

I don't think this is worth the hassle.

Not realy that big an issue. Wait, you need an email account to sigh up? Don't think I ever gave one, just created a name and password.
