I'd think so. Garner his interest first and then wean him into the other episodes.
"You're my favourite Princess ever!"
I'd start with either "Bridle Gossip" or "Dragonshy."
Pronounced "Sid-zellia"
"I could have had a falcon!"
"Sisterhooves Social" didn't have all that much new info in it, I think, so we're shutting down to conserve our conversation topics. =D

I haven't seen it in a while, so I'm not sure. I'd say it might be ok.
Oh, and have you shown your dad MLP yet?

What's up with the lack of stuff about them? I have yet to see any art or fanfics or anything.

I don't see any problem in starting with Boast Busters, although I've never tried it as an intro episode myself. I've personally had good luck with Swarm of the Century (despite losing the little bit of continuity with Zecora from Bridle Gossip. Although part of its success might be that the two people I showed it to picked up on the similarity to that Star Trek Tribbles episode) and Winter Wrap Up. I also had success with the pilot episodes, but the guy there was pretty open minded to begin with.
That's not right... RD stands for Red Dorothy.
^^^They sound like they're from Minnesota, in the north-central part of the country.
^^Watching Twilight break down isn't as entertaining if you don't know anything about her, though...

Do we have a canon name for her? Mayor Mare seems a bit odd to me.
