I'm reading the Bioshock crossover.

I really like how the author takes such a different tack from the game. The big mind control twist in the game is untwisted into something more conventional (essentially just another plasmid), and he changes the timeframe to sort of halfway through the city losing its collective shit instead of long after the whole thing is gone. The parts of the city still populated and functioning "normally" somehow feel even worse than the wrecked districts full of cannibal ax murderers.

Normally I'm not a fan of douchebag protagonists — Siren is a manipulative and mildly sociopathic bitch in a schoolyard mean girl way, which I normally wouldn't be able to stand reading about for long, but it's done in a way that contrasts really effectively with the rest of the city's more violent and exploitative brand of Randian sociopathy. I'm honestly not sure how he pulls it off so well and still makes it compelling, but dammit it works.

At least Gilda's not in the party as far as I see.

(Sometimes, I think my dislike for Gilda may be a bit harsh, but seeing all her crimes and lack of forgiving characteristics puts her pretty much on the bottom of the smaller time villain list of mine (I.E. not Nightmare Moon, Discord, Queen Chrysalis, or King Sombra). Anyone else have minimal liking of Gilda?)

Persona 4: The Animation had the best shonen anime protagonist period.

Gilda may be a jerk, but the things that she did seem to be rather petty at worst. (Discounting the possibility of Pinkie getting a major injury from crashing her chopper-cycle.) So while she may not be a very good person, she's not exactly scum-of-the-earth-tier either.

I saw naka's LP of Persona 4 and it was good. Also Hanako is the most adorable kid yet :3

Anyway, Gilda isn't that bad. The worst she ever did was steal an apple.
