I would like to write a fic dealing with Celestia immediately after banishing Luna, where due to the mixture of sadness, regret and the loss of her power base as the wise pacifist and power limiter of Luna's mere presence, Celestia became a tyrannical dictator, the type that ordered public executions, sacrifices in her honour and stuff like that. Of course, when Celestia realised you catch more bees with honey, she rewrote history so that it painted Luna as the evil coup leader who tried to end the world based on her jealous rage.
Well, why would an immortal alicorn with the power of life and death over very much the whole world be bound be conventional morality? If she slips up,
the next generation will never remember it.

It would be kind of fun writing an alicorn-goes-mad-with-power-fic.
Or an alternate history where Luna withdrew the night and refused to let the sun set instead of plunging the world into darkness. With the crops and ecosystem drying up, she orchestrates herself as a savior bringing refreshing coolness and banishing her vengeful demon sister to the sun.
