@dark: Well, the first and third movies' plots had Indy get commissioned to find the titular artifact, with the rest of the film spent on him finding it (well, he was in it for his dad in the third, but he was still told at the beginning to find the Grail). The second and fourth changed it up, with Indy basically stumbling upon a hidden temple and getting dragged into the plot by the Russians, respectively.
@Dark: The basic formula is basically Indy has to track down a Macguffin and get to it before someone else (usually Nazis) does, butting heads along the way.
I don't think so. I believe he's reading the Indiana Jones novelization, hoping it'll inspire him in regards to his Daring Do fanfiction. And shoot, I missed the new person.

If I get shocked then my hair will stand on end but I normally like to keep my coat down. However, I do know that the fur around my shoulders, the base of my neck, and the front of my belly are slightly more fluffy than the rest of my body.
