It's terribly paranoid, and it's not really at all what they intend. Frankly, Microsoft has been able to gather all the information on console owners they care about for a long time now. The states has had some issues lately that makes them a bit more cautious about being observed I think, and there's certainly an inherent moral objection, here. I mean, just because Microsoft isn't doing something, doesn't mean they can't.

I didn't know Microsoft was publishing a Fi M game. That is why we are all talking about the Xobox One on a pony thread, right?

We're talking about the xbox one because how long until the next episode airs again?!

According to my calculations, season 4 will begin airing approximately around the Second Coming of Christ. Then again, I never was any good at maths.

Huh, it's only showing in one theater in my city, and it's a little dinky one way away from anything else. Not that I'm actually considering seeing it in theaters.

I'd say just put a post it note over the camera. They can force you to plug it in, but they can't force you to keep the camera view unobstructed.

But seriously, it sounds like they're going overboard. The reason I buy console games rather than PC games is simply because it's guarantee to run; I don't have to worry about having a good enough processor or video card or whatever. I can just pop the game in and let the system do its thing. I don't care if I can do Skype or whatever from my ps3 because I'll just use my computer for that. I only want the console for the games.

It will still be listening to you though. Xbox is always listening.

Actually, I think there's already bootlegs up. The movie got leaked, which is why I'm unsubscribed from the EQG thread now. I'm going to see it with my roommate and some other friends this Sunday.
