Never saw it, what's so bad about him?

He's a shrill, obnoxious prick. I mean there's a certain amount of that I'm willing to forgive in a character that's supposedly 10 and shuffled around a shitty foster system, but even for that he's still a shrill, obnoxious prick. He's like if Willie Scott was a prepubescent boy trying to look hardcore.

Also he forces slang that was dated even for 1991 and has stupid hair.

Also why the hell have you not seen Terminator 2? Go watch it. Not even that douchebag can make the movie not awesome.

It's not necessary since they do a good job of explaining what happened (2 takes place 10 years later), but it's also a good movie and you might as well.

There's a reason T3 and 4 got panned so badly. The first movies were really good, and 2 in particular was outstanding.

I've always wondered why people mostly talk about 2. Though people do talk about the special effects in 3 sometimes.
