If Twilight and Celestia were sharing some tea they brewed themselves in a private meeting, would you expect them to steep the tea in a teapot and then pour it, or steep it in the individual cups?

The pot. That's fancier and the way Twilight would consider correct when serving the Princess. Also, milk goes in first, then tea (I prefer it the other way around, despiteit being wrong). Also, it needs to be boiled at sea level (yes, this does make a difference, the tea will taste stronger), (though, I suppose a high pressure chamber could have a similar effect and maybe even make it stronger).

There is an official document on the correct way to make tea. It won an ig-nobel prize.

I drink my tea from a can, lol.

But seriously, it's really rare that I'll actually enjoy tea, and it's almost always of the iced variety. The only time I ever drink hot tea is when I have a sore throat, and even then I put copious amounts of honey it in.

Thanks. I found a wiki-how on making tea, but it didn't give which way would be the more proper. I think I have enough information to proceed writing now.

Pleasure. Though I drink tea for the caffiene rather than the taste.

I South Africa, we have our own tea as well called Rooibos (apparently called "South African Red Bush Tea" in other countries. Rooibos does literally mean "red bush", but I find that funny) but it doesn't have caffiene, so I find drinking it pointless (and I actually prefer the taste of Ceylon anyway).

Hey NES! You know I've been wondering, with all the other shout-outs the show gives why do we not have a Hunter S. Thompson pony? It'd be perfect, he could wild gonzo news articles and conspiracy theories in a 'zine he prints from his home.
