From what I've heard they treat impaired characters with respect and do the research, but I still want to see for myself.
Zagreus sits inside your head, Zagreus lives among the dead.
Zagreus sees you in your bed, And eats you when you're sleeping.

Pretty much. Almost everyone who heard about Katawa Shoujo thought it was going to be incredibly tasteless, especially the Japanese (
katawa is no longer a politically correct term for disability, much like
cripple). Instead, it turned out to be this story about how disabled people are actually pretty goddamn
normal when you get right down to it — they can go to school, take up hobbies, fall in love, get their hearts broken, be scared, be neurotic, or be brave, just like anyone else; being blind or deaf or an amputee is no obstacle to finding fulfillment in life, or at least it shouldn't be.

Until you have a MAJORITY of the fans screaming and damning the creators to hell for what they're doing wrong, it's not a real fandom.
@JT: I prefer face-book. You know what I mean.
Besides, Twilight is better than AJ so facebook is automatically better than facehat.

I guess I should be getting to bed too.

No, no it wasn't.

@Crow: I PERSONALLY feel better about humans doing sexy times. But that's me.
But it hasn't stopped the usual r34 artists.

I was mpressed with the respect that Katawa Shoujo was handled with. Having a blind, paralysed mother meant that the issu was lose to me and I think it was done well.
