It's going to be so weird seeing him with an avatar.
It always takes some getting used to when someone changes their avatar. Unless they're one of the people who always has a different avatar anyway.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

@JT: Why stop there? If that happened, we might as well have everyone switch avatars. Or even have everyone switch avatars to match whoever the current top-of-page post is.
