Okay, Applelight, listen to me. You are male and your mother is female. It is not fair, but the fact is that in a physical situation, no matter who or what started it, you are going to get blamed. I'm speaking to you from experience. I've been abused before. It may not be right, but that's how it is. Unfortunately, if she hits you, you cannot retaliate. As I said, I know this from experience. My advice to you in such a case is simply to leave. Just get out. If you hit back it will seriously mess things up. Trust me. I know.
