@JT: Well I thought there was supposed to be one, but apparently Ankama is 'in talks' with France 3, the channel it airs on, about it. There's a movie in the works for 2014 or 2015 it seems, though. Which is interesting - if it's successful, it might get translated for North America, which could lead to the series being translated.

Right, the chapter in question is introducing the primary antagonists, the Griffon mercenaries until another force comes along.

The story deals with the aftermath with two teleportation experiments taking place at the exact same moment at a secret Equestrian military base and Canterlot Castle, basically ripping Equestria a new one and killing about 95% of the population, as well as grabbing aliens from other universes and dumping them all over the ruins. After the disaster, a griffon private military company invade the wasteland to take whatever they can. They stay as the primary antagonists for a while. I just don't know how to show them as a organised force, which soon finds out they've gotten way over their heads dealing with the ruthless remnants of the Equestrian Army, and the protagonist. and his band of refugees.

@Applelight: I'd just roll with it. If it's erroneous, the last thing you want is to get smacked with an actual "resisting arrest" charge. It's a pain in the ass, but you wouldn't want to give them a legit reason to charge you with something.

Well that's not usually what I'd go for but I think it can be made to work.

The tagline of the fic is basically: "Just when you see the smoke clear, someone throws a bucket of shit at you."

It gets to the point where the hero decides that ANY organised force is automatically out to kill him.

By the way, I just decided to watch the German dub of Best Night Ever. I think Pinkie called herself the 'party king', which was a bit weird. Also, Pinkie's singing voice is much deeper than her normal voice for some reason.

Huh really? I though her singing voice was at the same pitch as in any other episode.

Well I've only watched one of the German episodes, but that's what I thought.
