Contemplate my existence.
So just like any other morning, really.
Smart bunch, Time Lords. No dress sense, terrible hats, but smart.

@ Dark
Great headcanon for my favorite pony.
@ Sereg
Thanks. Always remember guys, this is a shonen style story. They should all be powerful fighters...and a dog can't fly and is vulnerable to magic.

Thanks Apple.
Unrelated, but has anyone checked out the Mega Mare ost? Stage 1 is pretty cool.

@Apple: The super-digging and smell are okay; it's the "biting through steel" thing that seems like overkill. If you toned that down a bit it would be fine. I.e. they can break bones and bite through wooden posts, but chomping down on an I-beam wouldn't work very well.

i wish i could bite through steel. i'd get free food for, like, a year.

Pound Cake could bend and snap metal at one month old. And the maseter muscle(the one that bites) is typically the strongest muscle in the body.

Does stuff that babies do really count though?
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

Why shouldn't it? I am unaware of any animal which is stronger as an infant.
@Purple Dalek: Why should we?
EDIT: Checked and taps (faucets to you Americans) are typically stainless steel. So foals can snap steel, nevermind adult ponies!

Because they really don't mesh well with anything else we've been told about unicorns and pegasi. And their antics are clearly just supposed to be funny and provide a thrust to the plot of Baby Cakes (Pinkie babysitting well-behaved, non-superpowered babies would be rather boring.) And children annoy me.

The next person who says 'headcanon' gets a squirrel in the face.
Fine, then. I'll just have to use my braincanon instead.

How? Give me one example of something they did that we're told is impossible for a unicorn or pegasus.
Also, I like to think that having earth pony parents "suped them up" as it were.

Could just attribute the Baby Cakes moments of ridiculousness to the power surges mentioned at the beginning.
Although, for a similar adult example, Dashie ripped a huge piece out of a thick wooden beam with her teeth in Lesson Zero.

Even assuming this is true, it's demonstrated to be within the bounds of pegasus ability.
Although, for a similar adult example, Dashie ripped a huge piece out of a thick wooden beam with her teeth in Lesson Zero.
Indeed. And she has to be able to carry thousands of times her own weight to carry three wonderbolts and Rarity over sound speed while pulling off those ridiculous turns.
Even Twilight, established in Winter Wrap Up as a weakling, can carry Tom.

Perhaps the friction of the snow added a bit of difficulty, but apparently multiple tons, at least. What do ponies make their snow plows out of!?
EDIT:Overanalysis is how I enjoy fiction. It never leads to my tears. Only my enjoyments.

Apparently the ost is for a fan game that's not looking too well. Regardless, the uploader's finishing the ost with similar remixes of Brony songs. So check the guy's channel for the rest.
The one based on the Rainbow Factory song is pretty neat.
