Speaking of which, I hear the EG designs are getting controversial? I'm still reserving judgement until I actually see it but its pushing it right?
I think people are getting annoyed at how skinny they're getting/ how much makeup is being added to their faces. I'll admit, my jimmies were rustled briefly, but they have since calmed down. My problem comes from the fact that the heads look way too big for the bodies, and their faces look too cluttered with their cutie marks. The eyes are looking too far apart on some of their faces as well.

Glad you guys are ok with the EG designs. I'm largely OK with it too. Although pinkies too thin imo...then again, a thin girl being able to eat like she does could be pretty funny. AJ isn't tough enough looking either. But I think I'm being pedantic.

Yeah, the quality of the writing is what's going to make or break this for most people. I'm not a fan of the designs, but in my experience good writing trumps crappy art most of the time.

I don't know of any writers (FIM or otherwise) that have attached themselves to EG, but I know Daniel Ingram and I think Jim Miller have.
