Eh, BEN and Discord seem to be similar. Thing is, we don't actually have a clue what BEN can do, so he could be much much weaker for all we know. My money is on the 'much much weaker' thing. I get the feeling the actual physical threats in the ARG come from somewhere else, and BEN is just kinda there to scare people/ do stuff on the net for some crazy scheme.

Oh, and there's no computer for BEN to inhabit, meaning he dies instantly or something.tongue

BEN as a vengeful spirit living in magic-programming that functionally acts like a computer. Less powerful than Discord, but if BEN can successfully creep Discord out I will be impressed.

Oh, I'm sure BEN could find a way to creep him out, but I'd eat my hat if he/she/it is actually more powerful than Discord.

Nightmare moon AND Discord vs Nyarlathotep. Nyarlathotep wins I say.

While I am not familiar with Persona 2, I'd say that Discord would beat Nightmare Moon hands down.

While NM would theoretically cause the end of the world as we know it (due to eternal night and what not), Discord has control over reality to the point where he can raise the sun and the moon at will, meaning that he's stronger than both of the princesses combined.

I'm curious as to what Nyarlathotep can do though. Can anyone give me a clue as to what s/he/it can do?

Yeap only the full power of friendship ( aka the Elements of harmony) are more powerful than Discord

[up]I still say Majora is stronger than Discord. Which makes the fact I'm thinking about writing a Majora's Mask fic funny because i have to think of a way to beat it dow—-oh, wait, I can have the protagonists stab it a few hundred times. XD

Nyarlathotep........I haven't actually played the game, but he's POWERFUL. He's a reality warper to the max, like he makes it so any rumor started in a town will come true no matter what. Oh, and he can blow the entire world up. Somehow. Beat THAT, Discord! :D

Does anyone else have any crack fights?

Equestria explodes.

Seriously though, probably Q; I seriously doubt the Elements of Harmony could hold that guy.

Okay, for those that were discussing it earlier, I didn't notice that Rarity wasn't Applejack. I'm very unobservant.

I didn't see the fuss about Rainity...until JT made that video. WHY!? Why did you do that!? It's Twilight's bedroom eyes all over again!

Also, agreed with the analysis about why the ponies sometimes seem attractive. Prefer humanisations though. It's more the personality of my favourites that I find attractive after all.
Clock is ticking!

[up]Their personalities also play a big part in that, says I.

Tell me someone else understood why I thought 12:43 looked kinda dirty.

This was a rather fun episode Sweetoe's picture was incredibely heartwarming.

Kefka vs Elements of Harmony Half of the fun of this fight would be seeing kefka flip his lid when he finds out what Equestia is like. The rest of it come from the sheer amount of outright HORROR his brand oc evil would induce in the hearts and minds of the ponies.

It's not so much Getting Crap Past the Radar as it was something that looked strange. I thought it looked like she was putting in a section for breasts, which made no sense considering their anatomies.

No, I had thought that when I saw the episode for the first time at more than 12 hours ago. Before we got onto the topic, that is.

I guess it depends on where you draw the line for crap - is a showgirl-inspired outfit by itself sexy, because it calls to mind... well... showgirls, or is it now a culturally accepted fact that dresses with that sort of pizazz have sparkled necklines?

...It's nearly 4AM here, not accounting for falling back. Did that make any sense?

Like I said, getting crap past the radar wasn't really what I was looking for. Unless you count her holding it as being crap, but that's going far even for me.tongue

I still thought it was put it there to call breasts to mind in a society where it normally wouldn't, not having breasts n all, but I don't think it qualifies as crap either. So it's........something

I think it was just because that's the sort of thing that would be on a human outfit, and the clothes tend to be as close to human as the show can get away with. Aside from the occasional saddle. Designing fashions as they would have evolved in a pony society would be difficult, it's easier to just base everything off humans, and that includes necklines.
tvtropesnoob avatar
#36349 from USA, USA, USA, USA! from USA, USA, USA, USA!
I was less talking about the neckline and more talking about how it seems to stick out, like a mold for breasts instead of a mold for flat skin. That seemed deliberate.

^The actual designs for the ponies' bodies aside, horses do tend to have rather prominent pectorals, I think...
