Another manestyle for Fluttershy

Probably a combination of the fact that the fandom is unusually prominent on the internet, it's a kids show, and detractors look for anything they can.

If Pokemon were introduced in the age of the internet and wildly popular among adults, we'd probably have the same problem.

It kinda still has stigmas, mostly generation wars. And anyone that has a bit of experience with the net knows Pokemon artists enforce R34 to a titanic degree.

Not just that one, either. Every single one of the hundreds and hundreds of them has at least 10.

Okay, so it wasn't something on my end. Phew. My internet has been giving me problems lately.

Rule 34 has existed since people began creating great works of all sorts. Take music, for example: People complain about how sexual is it nowadays- but people have been writing songs about sex since they realized they could put words to melodies. We're just less subtle about it.

Pony rule 34 weirds me out, sure. But people are going to write and draw it, and I have no right to tell them to stop. Just as they have no right to force me to look at it. Hell, sometimes I accidentally find something that leaves me both disgusted and laughing. It's rare, and usually not intentional- but it's happened once.
