How on earth is hiding the horn suppose to help him? I think the fact that there's a foal is far more damning than the holes in the horn. Heck, the fact that it's Chrysalis' kid gives him plausible dependability; he can just claim that he was under mind control when he knocked her up. Or you know, "I thought she was you". You can't fault him too much for banging a shapeshifter that was indistinguishable from his fiance and was brainwashing him.

@Kegi: I can understand Archive Panic, but I think it's worth it.

@Seraphem: You mnade it through FOE. This doesn't get anywhere near that (at least, so far). Let's see.It is a future post-apocalyptic Equestria thouh, with what that implies. Their are real and nasty wars. There's a bit ofpsycholoical stuff which can hit you a bit. Every chapter starts with an extract from Twilight's book which get increasingly disturbing and yeah, thre are some really nasty vilians. But seriously, nothing anywhere near FOE.

@JT: Well he must be pretty panicked and not thinking straight :V

@Kegi: I reckon in such a scenario Cadance would eventually forgive him because Chrysalis clearly took advantage of him while using mind control. It'd be Shiny who'd have trouble coping with the undeniable fact that Chrysalis had stolen HIS first time.

@Ace: Well, it is possible that Shining and Cadance had bumped uglies before the whole wedding incident. Rule of Drama and all, though. But yeah, Cadance would probably be pretty understanding about the whole thing. It would certainly make for an interesting story about her trying to raise a half-changeling baby.

@Kegisak: Shining Armor charging Chrysalis with rape probably wouldn't work very well, given that she's the sovereign of another nation and wouldn't consider herself subject to Equestrian law.

Then again, if Equestria conquers the changelings...
