So yeah, the number of quotes I'm going to use vs. the number of crazy quotes there are available is so insanely out of proportion that there's no point in ratcheting up the crazyness to get quoted. I've just gone through the pages since last night and between what you posted then and the stuff you guys dug up, I'm going to be culling like, 90% of it even though they're pretty much all perfect.

And yes, I'm trying to keep it semi-anonomyous. If I can't just leave a username out, I'm blanking it. I'm not entirely sure what to do about trope speak yet, most of it is fine, but I'll probably cut out the most blatant ones.

Won't they be able to figure out where it's from just by googling the phrases?

A lot of tropes names are actually not tvtropes specific, and the ones that are, won't be all that funny to read out of context.

@darkabomination: That is a very good example of Hilarious in Hindsight within this very thread! That was obviously written pre-Lesson Zero. I could definitely see that one going on the Tumblr, probably with a picture from one of Pinkie's letters (or part where she's reciting what she learned), I know she sends them in Baby Cakes, A Friend In Deed and in Too Many Pinkie Pies (I don't remember if she sends a letter in the MMMM story).

I should like a pony fan game that is inspired by the Persona series.

@ Ace: That'd be pretty cool, but you'd have to make sure it doesn't get too dark. Otherwise it kind of clashes with the overall tone of the original material.

Well, apocalyptic disasters are business as usual in the pony franchise, and powerful beings based on virtues and arcana would fit in beautifully with the Elements of Harmony.

So, if it was possible to make a pony image with this, would you look at it or no?

You make a fair point, Ace. I was thinking more of the fact that the universe of Shin Megami Tensei is horribly flawed and humanity faces an uncaring universe where in the grander scheme of things, they are at the whim of forces grander than themselves and the angels are no better than the devils.

Ponysona would be much lighter since there are Powers that actively take care of the little ponies. They've made many friends in high places.

Also Lauren's Fausticorn avatar would make an awesome Ponysona.

Depending on which game you take there's not a huge danger of that. Persona 4 never got really dark. If you wanted to avoid the whole murder thing, you could change it to ponies just disappearing. I'm at least partly sure I did see a ponysona 4 fic, at least.

Persona 1-3 you'd have to be a bit more careful with, from what I know. Though Persona 2's whole rumour thing might mesh interestingly with the ponyverse.
