@Roy: Hmmm, ah, I got one.

The spot where my wings connect from my body is where my coat fur stops and my feathers begin. Ponies are all fur. I have fur on my head, fur on my neck, fur on my legs, fur on my flank, etc. Yet, for some arbitrary reason, my wings are like, "Nah, I'm tired of fur. I want to be covered in down."

I should stop by the Griffon Country one day.
