I just came to tell you that twilight is wrong. There is a portal from Equestria to your world, but it's imperative that you don't use it or something horrible will happen.

I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey . I'm 903 years old. I came to save your life

I'm of the opinion that anything we would call magic is only called such because of an unknown or unknowable nature. As such studying and understanding it instead enters it into the vaults of science. A known unknown becomes a known known.
You guys do realize that the Equestrian definition of "magic" differs quite a bit from what you woul consier "magic" right? It's basically just a branch of science for us. It doesn't have an "unknown or unknowable" nature in Equestria. Just an interesting semantic quibble.
OOC: I'm basically going to just ignore the doctorwhooves stuff because I'm trying to keep the Twilight sock consistent with the show, which obviously doesn't have stuff like that. The only exception is the internet connection, because otherwise the sock wouldn't be here.
So hey, I just walked into a glass door in my office because my head was down and I thought it was open. Go me.
I once walked into a wall because I was looking behind me.

Aww man, you're worse than those obnoxious angels at the end of The Amber Spyglass.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

I have my own gateway there, but I'm not using it unless I have to since I locked it up real tight and you need a loooong password to unseal it. The Doctor shouldn't be able to see it because it operates on a system-level below what the TARDIS can sense.
Anyways, Twilight, does having wings make it awkward to turn over the other way when sleeping?
so many moons

I asked five professors of archeology and history and they all said that there is no mention of any postive achievements by anyone with a title of queen.
The first Crystal Fair was established by a queen.

Oh come on, Doctor, you can’t tell us that the portal exists then expect that no one will use it. I thought you were smarter than...
Oh. Oh. Clever.

well, of course there's still a portal. If my idea about all the gens being in a single continuity is correct, then building a sufficiently large enough rainbow should do the ticket. I've always thought of them as potentially magical enough that a large one could warp space-time and create a sort of magical wormhole. We're just going to need one large Sonic Rainboom.

I don't need a Rainboom, I can always use that nifty ability I copied from The King of All Cosmos - Royal Rainbow :V
Is anyone here familiar with the Celtic (and later Roman) goddess Epona? She was the goddess of horses and other equines, as well as fertility. I highly believe a goddess like that certainly has a place in the MLP G4 universe, and I hope the writers are aware of her. Does anyone else share my beliefs?

She'd certainly fit. Celtic mythology would go nicely with the Greek being used here. Could make a fantasy counterpart culture of sorts to the Equestrians.
I really hope the writers will take us across more of the world in season 4. With Twilight now a princess, there's not reason why she must stay in Ponyville all the time. There must be many diplomatic missions she's needed in.
