[up][up]I also have god-like powers and friends in high places!

Of course, my powers extend to summoning golden walking canes and not dying.

[up] Wait- did you kick yourself into next week?

Y'know what- nevermind. It's better not to question these things.
Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember her, you are not alone.

The glue joke as longs since lost its humor.

Anyway, I think this is the first time I've seen you on the internet AJ. How'd you learn about the internet?
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

@CDRW: That's true, but if hide glues are that specific in their applications, I doubt you'd be able to use us for it anyway, given the differences in physiology.

@Steve: Okay, guess I won't have to deal with you for a week, then.
Everything is going to be fine!

Applebloom only gets an hour of computer time a day

Cutie Mark Crusader Hackers, yay!

As far as random questions, what's your favorite wood?
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

Filly cheese steak.

I know it's not directed at me, and I don't particularly care.

Trixie doubts the magical capabilities of cowboys.

I feel like a slowpoke. It was there the whole time, and I never noticed.
Oh, no! They've all transformed into giant, Swedish, lederhosen-clad yodelers! Run!

Hey Twilight, do you have the hang of flying yet? Have you crashed into anything?

@story: Morning Oak.

@ Orion: Believe it or not, it was Big Mac. One day he came home from Ponyville with a big box in his cart, and he said if it had an apple on it, it was worth taking a look at.

@ Storyyeller: It's pearwood.

...

Ha! Fooled ya! Oak is the best wood, you can make anything with it and it'll last forever. If you use oak, you only need to make somethin' once.
I buck apples!

I feel I need to point out that hide glue is still an incredibly useful adhesive.

Like violin making? How's that going?

Filly cheese steak.

That's not even a wood.

Also surprised noone's mentioned Krastos yet.

@Crow: Flying isn't that bad. Staying up is pretty simple, although doing any sort of tricks is beyond me at the moment. Also, landing is hard. That's all I'm going to say on the matter.

As for wood, I like mulberry. You can make paper out of it, and you need that for books.

@ Twilight: Actually, you can make hide glue out of anything that has skin. Collagen is the main active ingredient. Hide glue is incredibly versatile, it's just that most people don't use it because it's a little less strong and a lot more inconvenient. Plus it stinks. The plus sides are that it's reversable with water, you can varnish over it, and you can apply new glue over old without scraping down to the wood.

@ Storyyeller: It's going kind of stressful right now. I've fallen behind and need to catch up or else I'm not going to be going to school for much longer.

If it can be made from anything with skin, I'm sure you can find much more convenient sources than us. tongue

[up]Just talking. Is that what the internet is for? Other than sharing pornography and pictures of cats?
