Regarding the update, it seems that iOS players only got the Easter update, while Android basically got both Easter and Canterlot lumped together into a mega-update.

There are now two separate shops - one for Ponyville and one for Canterlot. New ponies on the Canterlot side consist of Twilight Velvet, Twilight's Dad (no they still haven't named him), Upper Crust, Fleur De Lis, Twinkleshine, Lyrica, Minuette, Joe, and Unicorn Guard.

@Narcissa: In general? No one really likes Mare Do Well, for whatever reason.

I can't say I actively flat out hate any episode. But there are some I don't really care for.

@Syd - Eh, I've seen better.

@Narcissa:The most widely disliked episode would have to be Mysterious Mare Do Well. Other widely disliked episodes include One Bad Apple, Show Stoppers, Owls Well that Ends Well, and I think Spike at Your Service. After that it gets a bit murky (some would say some of my observations are murky as well).

Actually it seems that most Spike episodes are not widely liked.

Bah, Look Before You Sleep is one of my favorites.

As for episodes that are commonly disliked, Mysterious Mare Do Well is pretty unanimously considered subpar; even the people who like the episode admit that it's rather flawed. I can't think of any others that have any consensus; even with the other episodes Mio listed, a lot of people would consider them good.

Then again, everybody has their individual episodes that they don't think very highly of. I'm not a huge fan of "A Friend in Deed" or "Dragon Quest".

Do people really not like Look Before You Sleep?

My guess would have been Over A Barrel, Mysterious Mare Do Well, Hearth's Warming Eve, Baby Cakes and Magical Mystery Cure. Though I don't get the reasons for most of those, also most of those are some of my favorite episodes.

Yeah, for example, I don't consider One Bad Seed at all bad. We got a fun new character out of it.

Hearth's Warming Eve has some great AJ/Pinkie moments. Baby Cakes was not really very disliked.

I know Bluespade doesn't like it, but everybody else in the thread ranges from ambivalence to viewing it positively. For me it's one of my favorites because of the character interaction.

Out of those, the only ones that really fit (At least in this thread) are the first two. Hearths Warming Eve, Baby Cakes, and Magical Mystery Cure were all received more or less well. MMC kinda counts in that most people like the stuff that happened but felt the pacing was off.

And I don't have any issues with One Bad Seed either. Most of the complaints about that episode are less about the quality, and more people who didn't like the way the subject matter was handled.

Apple Family Reunion isn't too popular either, although that's less "disliked" and more "Well, that sure was an episode that happened".

I didn't realize what everyone was getting so worried about, but then I realized I actually read that as "zinger", which means something completely different.

Also, I'm pretty sure that the Wierd Place is just a district of the Thread House. I mean, the place was built by Discord and Pinkie, so it makes sense for a section of it to be the Wierd Place.

It seems to vary widely depending on sites and such. I've actually seen MMDW pretty ardently defended on Derpibooru for example.
