I totally expect Rarity to end up with some pretty seashells for her beach fashion specials, also Fluttershy to prove to be better at swimming than flying.

We've never really seen them near the water, so this is all speculation.

We've seen Pinkie in the water, several times. And we've seen Fluttershy and RD near the water.

Sorry guys, can I just interrupt for a second,

The two Earths in my crew. One (Coconut) is a sort of 'Pony Tarzan' who's earthy colours (green, brown, maybe yellow), lives in a treehouse in the dangerous jungles of the islands, and is good with nature. The other is a pony 'dwarf' sailor type who builds machines powered by soda (or maybe rum) and has 'metallic' colours.

This a good enough contrast?

@Kyler: Well at least Pinkie is canonically good at swimming, as are the Crusaders. Come to think of it, AJ should be good at swimming since she's most likely to have taught Applebloom.

How is it that I manage to get in on a fairly awkward time?

As for who'd be doing what in the beach episode, here's a couple things I'd probably see:

Pinkie off in the ocean, having a (Cannon)ball.
Rarity sunbathing (to look more dashing...)
Fluttershy probably making a sand castle (The tide'd probably make her jump, so she'd probably not be at the ocean...)

Ah well... I didn't see too many beach episodes.

Sounds good, though the soda powered machinery reminds me of Commander Keen in a way. (How can anypony not like their own rocket ship powered by Everclear?)

Sounds about right I'd say!

He's one part Franky from One Piece (soda powered machines}}, and one part Scotty from Star Trek (scottish accented engineer).

And I take it RD or even AJ would go surfing.

A beach episode would just be begging for a Steven Magnet cameo appearance.

It would be quite Rarity-ish to get a tan under her coat just on the off-chance she gets shaved or something.
