I agree that Rainbow Dash is Sayaka. I even drew Rainbow Dash cosplaying as Sayaka. The problem is that both Sayaka and Kyoko have similarities to RD and if you ignore the apple connection, Kyoko has too little in common with any of the other ponies, whereas AJ can sort of fit with Sayaka as well.

Disagree, Dashie has fewer self-destructive tendencies and is more tomboyish than Sayaka. Also her sense of Loyalty is stronger, she's closer to Kamina in character than Sayaka, more willing to put up a strong front if her friends need her. In a way, sometimes her friendship with Fluttershy is a bit of a Simon-Kamina bond.
