It wasn't the keyboard; it was a bit of metal stuck in the slot where I plug in my keyboard. Replacing the keyboard did not help. The main mouse slot had been damaged by overheating (I think, it might have been something else) and the mouse was permanently wedged in; and wouldn't come out.

If I had taken the mouse out, I would have had absolutely no mouse. It was stuck.

It was my family's only computer. No iphones, no wii internet, just an old computer.

Yes, I'm posting from a different computer now; but the old one's been fixed. It works so long as you don't use the keyboard. That's where I keep all my old point-and-click games.

You're still using ps/2 in this age of USB everything? Or if you're using a usb set, why not just add a hub and tether new mice/keyboards to it? Still no excuse.

No, not a ps2. An old computer, with no usb ports; and only one keyboard slot and only one mouse slot.

I could play floppy disks on it; and it was my mom's work computer, so she needed the big guns of information (8-inch floppy disks; and later five-inch).

Eh, I dunno how I feel about the The Ricky Gervais Show... in the episodes I saw it never really seemed like Karl was really far enough out there to warrant the abuse he got. Plus I think Ricky Gervais is one of those people who's like, instantly dismissive of the religious as morons, which...

Unrelated rant is unrelated. In more related news, I've set up a subscription for the main and micro pony comics at my local shop, so hurrah! Should be getting the next couple of issues in a week or two, they say. Double hurrah!

I was banned because it was assumed that I had a virus; and could infect the wiki, forums, and other users.

That's just stupid. You can't spread a virus just by posting on these forums. If you can, the forums are insecure, and FE has bigger issues to worry about.

I've got five computers, but it's hard to carry them around, especially since two are desktops. They need to hurry up and invent wearable computers.

Yep, but it took me over an hour and a half to watch due to my stupid connect. It kind of ruins the impact, but the ending was still pretty sad.
