Those types... a good (if not overused) flaw for them is if they get too angry they forget who is friend and who is foe... and just smash everything in sight til they cool down.

@Applelight: Personally I'd leave it intentionally vague what the limits on his strength are so you can do whatever with it down the line.

Remember Moose from the Archie comics? You could base this guy on him; big, strong, dumb as a bag of rocks. Also, Moose had a girlfriend. Moose was so jealous that he would beat up anyone he caught talking to her, friend or foe.

I'd advise making him more likeable, Apple, maybe more of a Boisterous Bruiser who doesn't know his own strength. I think he can be like a Rainbow Dash-level jerk sometimes but you might not want to make him completely unlikeable, otherwise people would hate him.

This works...in fact, I'm starting to look at characters like Hagrid for inspiration.

Maybe you could make him a Gentle Giant or something who switches into berserker mode when he fights.

Or his button is pushed...problem is, at the moment I don't know if I should make him a sort of Tarzan/Wreck-It-Ralph style mountain man or a hard as nails docker/sailor...I think the first would ultimately be better.

Yeah, Apple, exactly like "likely to pat you on the back and inadvertently slam your face into something". That immediately turns him around for me ^^

Also, might dispense with The Worf Effect a bit, or at least tone it down to where he can land a few hits but they don't really do anything.

And great with animals...yeah...actually, this guy could be more like the Flutteshy of the group in terms of talent. That 'steve irwin' pony we often talked about...

Maybe he's got the opposite of Fluttershy going on...ponies think he's a monstrous brute but he's not...but he can be if you push him...

And when he hoof bumps you...bones break.

Did anyone see Silly Filly Studio's "Snow Drop"? I saw it lived minutes ago. I hope once it's posted on Youtube. It might get it's own Tv Tropes page in the MLP:FIM fanworks section.

Currently, new to Tv Tropes. I read alot of tropes from the months few months. Im obsessed with Cinnamoroll from Sanrio.
