I'm sort of with Ginger on this one, I have never seen the point in wanting to be depressed unless you were already in a state where you're tying to feel worse about yourself (Has been there.)

I simply search for joy, joy, and more joy, especially from this show and it's fandom. Like this hilarious story I just found where Lyra perfects her arm spell.

I also feel like agreeing with Ginger there. I dislike it when people write fanfic that goes completely against everything the original show stands for. If you are not going with the original tone of the setting, why bother with the setting at all? Write your own stuff, it's NaNoWriMo!

Calvin: I kind of resent the manufacturer's implicit assumption that this would amuse me.

in case you want to invove humans and Equestrian Ponies and their physics-defying heads. Unless we assume that their animated representtions are artistic caricatures of the "truth", like say comparing Animated or Prime Optimus with Movie Optimus, who has som many parts it's impossible to properly follow his transformations, and he never transforms twice in the same way!

I feel upset when people assert that something should not exist (barring stuff that would actually get you locked up, but that's beside the point). Granted, I like tearjerkers, but on principle I would say the same of grimdark, even though I wouldn't touch the stuff with a ten-foot pole.

Wait. Suspension of Disbelief is completely over thrown. Why exactly do they have the expression "Thumbs up". It's a pony dominated world. They should have a variation of "Hooves up" but that would be an example of Hold Your Hippogriffs if I ever saw one! It's just completely nonsensical. I'm pretty sure the comics he makes are total absurdism. In which case it's pretty funny.
