When I got my wisdom teeth pulled, I literally didn't feel anything. The biggest annoyance is the rubber things they put in to hold your mouth open.

Ugh, I have to get my wisdom teeth out over Spring Break >_< Not looking forward to that.

Also, I heard discussion about the Twilight micro-comic. What all happens, just her going about her day, just a cute feel-good thing?

Im not letting them touch my Wisdom teeth... if its not bothering me why take them out?

All they want is to push the surgery on me so they can make their BMW payment.

I had impacted wisdom teeth that broke the surface of the gums. They weren't causing any problems right then, but when they break the surface it opens up the opportunity for bacteria to get down deep in your jaw and mess things up real good later down the line.
And now its raining flaming zombie pirahanas everywhere.

@Librarian; Yeah, basically Twilight helps out at the Royal Archives for a few days and makes friends with a grumpy old mare who's Not so Different from her. the My Little Pony Micro Series page has a little recap of it.

@Turtle: I feel that way about every filling I've ever gotten. Growing up I needed one just about every time I went to the dentist, which was every six months or so. Once I was off my parents dental plan I waited about two years before going in again, and despite the greater amount of time and my habits being worse than before, that appointment was basically the same as every other one. So I'm pretty sure all those fillings I "needed" were bullshit.

It's not that bad. It's a lot better than getting braces for instance. The main issue is that you have to make sure nothing gets stuck in the holes in your gums.

I was unconcious when they took out my wisdom teeth. The next day was unpleasant. I never thought I'd have to be force-fed ice-cream.

But I've had an opperation with more painful results before.

That is what they say CDRW.. but my mom has had hers all her life and is still alive. They cant remove hers because it would damage facial nerves and leave her face paralyzed... might actually be an improvement though.

I'm very sensitive to anesthesia too... so I don't think risking my life is worth it for the wisdom teeth. My heart goes nuts when they put me under... and no way I'm not doing it without general anesthesia.

It depends on the person. Some people can just leave them in while others, like myself, have to get them pulled because there's no room on the jaw for more teeth and if they grow in they screw up everything else.

[up]I did it without getting put under. It wasn't painful, just incredibly surreal. It was like I could feel them putting pressure on me and I could see them going in with pliers and whatnot, but it never actually hurt until the laughing gas wore off. And even then it was more of an ache than anything else.

My brother had his wisdom out about... 6 years ago now. Right on his sixteenth Birthday, actually. He spent the 'party' doped off his ass, slowly eating jello and playing with the toy car my parents gave him as a joke. It was kind of funny.

I haven't had to have mine out, happily. My dad didn't need his out until he was almost 50 though, so there's no saying it's a permanent situation.

Why would you refuse to do it without general anasthesia?

[up]Because it can be a really freaky experience? I did it without, and while it wasn't painful it definitely wasn't something I'd want to experience again.

My wisdom teeth are fine. Or for a while longer, who knows.

I would like this to be a thing.

@ Story: STUFF CAN FALL IN?! D:

I hope they stitch the holes shut ;n;

They don't stitch them shut, there's just two gaping holes in the back of your mouth. They give you a little squirt bottle to clean them out with, and it takes a few weeks or months for them to close up.

[up][up]Mine got stitched up. I just had to remember to change the gauze every few hours for a day or two.

[up]That's pretty much what I did. Still doesn't mean I'd want to do it again.

Random note, the Princess Twilight Sparkle DVD episode list has been revealed. It includes "Games Ponies Play", but not "Just for Sidekicks"? I know its not a Twilight episode, but still. Seems odd to exclude that one...

Also, the comic contains this, which justifies it's entire existence.

I preferred this shot. [lol]

To those who haven't read it, just offscreen is a spare suit for the changeling shadowing them so it can cosplay itself too.
