But yeah it is looking less and less like Marketing told them to make Twi a princess, and more and more like they simply rushed their own plans a bit in case season 3 was the last one.

I think a lot of judgement of the finale depends on how Season 4 treats it in retrospect.

@Pykrete: Which is why I mooted the idea of half hour TV shows actually being able to use all 30 minutes.

I mean, it'll never EVER happen (Networks need ads), but even an extra 8 minutes would have made a significant difference. Right now, we've got 8 minutes for...Stompeez and whatever the hell they sell on the Hub. It's a shame, honestly.

I hope we get more Luna in season 4. Please, please more speaking roles, a cameo here and there barely counts. If the staff does deliver on the implications that the princesses will be getting more screen time, I'll be happy.

I'm also hoping for some more side character interaction with the Mane Six. I think a lt of their conflicts and personalities have just about been explored with each other so we could use some more characters to shake it up a bit. And this is just a preference, but I'd enjoy more Mythology Gags to previous continuities. It doesn't have to be a big thing, some visual cues and a joke or two about something that was common previously being seen as improbable. Like say, not being able to teleport through solid surfaces. Still, We do have Bon Bon so I have no room to complain.

EDIT:I'm fluent in English, can speak Afrikaans, can say a few sentences in Zulu and French was the first subject I ever failed (also, I once achieved an Epic Fail in an Afrikaans assignment minus seventy percent). I am not good with languages.

(Also, how do you get MINUS seventy percent? And for that matter it's worth noting that even being able to speak two languages a bit makes you better with languages than the average north american.)

Keg: One way I can think of that an English teacher did to my high school class is to make the mark penalties for getting something wrong larger than the positive. Like +1 for getting something right, -2 for wrong. It was his attempt at discouraging random guessing, but it failed rather badly, so he only did it for one test. The less studious people in the class got utterly massacred by it.

Unfortunately, the relationships between the cast shift too much from week to week. There appears to be Negative Continuity. As such, I can't be sure which relationships wil become canon.

My school's Afrikaans department was insane (no seriously. I have stories.). It was kind of like Kuroi said except you also lost two marks if you didn't answer. So randomly guessing and giving up were punished the same amount.

I'm South African. Not being able to speak two languages here would mean that you are considered uneducated. Most people here speak at least three (though pleanty only speak two). We have eleven official languages and several more unofficial languages. Our national anthem has four verses, each of which is sung in a different langguage.
