Just started watching the episode, and is it just me, or does RD's cutie mark really suit Rarity?

340098 I agree, but I still want to see the Cutie Mark Crusaders remain as friends, because I don't want it to be another Status Quo Is God Episode. I despise episodes like that. Plus, I wanna see Rainbow Dash and the others succeed in their life-long dreams.

Now I'm freakin' PUMPED for the next season, but I'm praying it NEVER goes through a Seasonal Rot like Spongebob did.

The Crystal Empire: Keeping the shield up is obviously straining Cadance.

Alternate hypothesis: Twilight is just that good at magic now.

Nightmare Moon was largely the elements though. Basically, we can say that some spells take more effort than others, and the amount of effort required isn't necessary proportional to how powerful or complicated the spell is. If anything that kinda makes sense. Simple spells take more effort because you're brute-forcing the result. The better at magic you are, the less effort it takes because you know how to most efficiently get the result you want. That's why stuff like the wing spell in "Sonic Rainboom" took so much effort; Twilight had never used it before. In fact, most of the spells that Twilight is seen struggling with are ones that she hasn't studied or attempted before.

In this case, we have a spell written by a nigh-legendary unicorn (who'd know how to make it efficient) cast by another unicorn who's a magical prodigy (who would also have a good idea of hwo to cast it). If that's true, it really isn't surprising that the spell didn't look that hard.

As I said, I would love to see MLP become a Government Procedural, with a lot of focus on economics, education, and science.

In regards to ponies being cooked and eaten, the same thing happened by other ponies in a Tales episode—though only in fantasy.

The idea would be interesting, but it wouldn't really gel with the way the show has gone so far.

Guys? I seem to be having some kind of post-euphoria panic attack here. It has nothing to do with my feelings toward the episode. I loved it. It has nothing to do with my thoughts on the future of FIM. I'm sure it's in good hands, and I'm enthusiastic and excited to see what becoming a princess really means for the future of our beloved Twilight.

It's just me. This is one of my personality flaws. Now that my euphoria has worn off, I feel like I'm having a full-blown panic attack. I'm literally trembling. It's why I was put on medication for anxiety and depression. It helps most of the time, but it's not a miracle cure.

Deep breaths, Syd. We'll be getting news about Season 4 (and its 24 episodes!) soon enough. Just focus on your breathing, maybe close your eyes if that helps.

@Syd: I'd take a step away from the computer and do something non-pony related. Have lunch watch something else for a bit, just do something to relax a little.
