It doesn't work that way. Celestia very clearly said that Discord was freed because the Elements of Harmony are no longer attuned to her and Luna.

When the Mane 6 pass the elements to their next bearers, those successors have to refresh the spell on Discord.

Yeah, but it took him long enough to break out. They should have plenty of time to round up the next batch and refresh it.

Of course, that's if the next element bearers are obvious. It's pretty clearly not just a matter of handing the bobbles of to someone and firing lasers. The question is, does the wielder simply need to exhibit the quality in great measures, or is the element a sort of spiritual thing, and inhabits a single pony at a time - like a power ring, flying off the finger of a dead lantern to seek a new worthy host. In that case finding the new bearer would be a bit... trickier.

While it's unlikely to ever pop up in the show, I have little doubt that Celestia will be keeping the matter in mind and be prepared to put the pieces in place to take care of the matter when the time approaches. She certainly got Twilight's Pony Gang together in time for her Sister's evil half. She'll probably see to it that some other batch of ponies with the necessary traits are brought together in time for them to call upon the Elements and use them against Discord before it's too late.

Do you guys think Luna will appear more than once in Season 2? Though I really liked S2E4, I kinda think she came off as a one-note character there. What other kind of plots could she be used in?

She kinda grew out of being one note (to me at least) at the end of that episode once she realized what the problem was. We'll probably get to see more aspects of her personality once she's seen in a more casual setting

How much power does Blueblood have anyway (if any at all)?

He acts like an entitled prick, yet no one calls him out on being an entitled prick before Rarity does. and unless Rarity has a thing for obscure members of royalty, then it looks like Blueblood is pretty famous.

Do you think he gets protected by Royal Guards whenever he goes out?
