Yeah, the comic is going to...places.

[Disclaimer; I have not actually read the comic in question, and I'm going off Pykrete's description]. Sounds kind of grim. But then, that was kind of something I'd hoped to see with the comics; more content targeted toward the older fans and exploring more themes that they couldn't explore in the cartoon. Apparently, "no seriously people, Chrysalis is fucking evil" is one of those. Looking forward to finally getting to read them.

Hoo, that was fun. Got to be front-and-center for the invasion by /mlp and the epic counter-trolling by Sibsy and Mando. I think I sent/received more messages via my empty Deviantart account in the last hour than I have for the preceding year of its existence. Every once in a great while, sticking around for the shitstorm pays off.

I fired a few salvos when I thought they were appropriate. Mainly I just let them handle it. They seemed to have matters pretty much under control. It did very little to dispel my previous impression of /mlp. I especially liked how after about a half-hour, they all simultaneously seemed to realize they weren't actually pissing anyone off, and just stopped posting.

No worries. I'm done thinking about it.
Inspiration strikes in the oddest places!
And you've pretty much got a place name if you want it!
A little chaos vs. a lot of order.
Maybe it could be that gnome from the G1 cartoon that lived in a giant mushroom.
