Cancer is good, but I like Leo the best

I read the first chapter of Pink Eyes. I recall fairly enjoying it as I read the first chapter, but I never bothered to continue.

As for Project Horizons, I'm not sure what to expect. On the one hand, there are three things (out of many) that I dislike about the original fic: first-person angst, TL;DR, and >rape - all three are apparently even more in effect in this one. On the other, the excerpts I've read that Ginger's shown me I really liked, and I get the impression that the core cast of characters is much more endearing than the original's, e.g. the protagonist is really funny and interested in things other than shooting.

But yeah it takes the worst parts of FOE, the angst, the darkness, the suffering, stuff that was done nearly perfectly in FOE and balanced well with the lighter stuff. And just cranks them up way the hell to far

Plus the whole Golden-Retcon stuff

But it also has a lot of good points and great ideas. They just get oveshadowed by retcons, and Somber deciding it would be a good idea to have the main character (spoilered both for spoilers and for just how wrong it is) Get her legs all but torn off, leaving her maimed for life, nailed to a box, and then brutally gangraped.

On the topic of ponyscopes, here's a comic about Libra's romantic troubles. Poor Cancer pony, feeling left out. Love is hard, and no one understands.

@ Syd, yeah can't blame you.

If anyone cares about purchasing plush toys, official 20" Fluttershy are now listed on Amazon and Target. Neither are in stock at the moment, but I happen to know for a fact that both were recently available and these aren't simply pre-listings, so if anyone does want it, keep an eye on both and you might get lucky.

Oh, and I'm a fan of the Leo myself. Though the Cancer's pretty cool too.

Well, it can't possibly be as bad as that other thing I read, which I'd say is about as terrible as your mind will allow you to believe. As far as Goldenblood goes, I'm not quite sure, given how much I completely don't care about the backstory in the original.

I already purchased, but it's okay. I sell stuff part-time online on eBay, including Pony stuff, and I'm planning to resell this anyway. In fact, one of them is actually already reserved for a Pony fan in another country that's a friend of mine, though that one's not being sold at a markup.

And Build a Pony at Build-a-Bear Workshop? That is so awesome. They have that at one of the local malls, so I am definitely interested in that.
