Until the show contradicts it, there's nothing not canonical about the comics. You could treat them that way if you want and most people would probably agree with you.

@ed Well, the comic writers work with the show writers, so it shouldn't be decanonised. It's about as canon it can get without the show itself referencing it.

I can wait patiently for G&B to bring in my subscription for the comic :D
Luna would totally fund her own Night Guards to start up some kind of X-Com. Celestia goes the RPG approach and has her Guards protect the populace, instead commissioning adventurers (like our 6 heroines) to deal with things instead.
Prehistoric Parties! Complete with white chocolate dino-bones inside the cake!
