Maybe Ponyville is too much of a backwater to have them. Canterlot Winter Wrap Up'll have ton of Snowmobiles. When Celestia doesn't do the ceremonial Solar Beam through the snow.

I'm going to share with you all a bit of a Hey, It's That Voice! moment I had yesterday while playing Star Wars The Old Republic (that's been happening a lot lately for some reason)

I was playing my Jedi Consular and I finished my quests on Nar Shadaa, in which is when you get a companion named Tharan (a scientist full of himself who serves as the Consular's medic), who helped you on your class quests on that planet. Tharan has his own companion, a sentient flirty hologram named Holiday voiced by Tara Strong. I already knew this (Tara also voices one of the Smuggler companions), but Holiday is quite different from our favorite book-obsessed pony so it felt like just another one of her many roles.

Then she says "I'll start with that horrible algorithm for the hyperdrive!" and couldn't help but think that's something a sci-fi Twilight would say and I now have a holo-human-Twilight on my ship.

She sounds more like Grey Delise's Jeanette from Masquerade in that video, to me.

Doesn't sound quite sultry enough to remind me of Jeanette.

I can never recognize voices like that. In fact, I often have trouble recognizing actors on screen.

Voice recognition is one of (many) reasons why I can't get into Littlest Pet Shop - Blythe sounds like both AJ and RD (yes, I know, don't remind me the obvious) so she sounds like she is posessed by Equestrian ghosts.

Dibs on the fanfic idea.

You need better pattern-matching heuristic algorithms.
