I'm living with my parents too. Saves me about $20, 000 a year and means I actually get decent food. My mom is also teaching my how to cook, so when I can finally afford my own apartment I won't have to eat ramen all the time.

I've gone back to living with my parents again before. Hope I don't have to do it again. I hate being unemployed.

How would the Mane six (other than Applejack) cope with moving back in with their parents? I'm guessing that Rarity would take it the worst. Fluttershy would be more concerned with leaving the ground.

Over here it's so common to live with your parents it isn't even frowned upon. Apparently you're not supposed to leave your family until you have one of your own.

But let's not linger on that, cause its depressing!

Well let's face it, the whole cultural thing of having to leave your house to get your own place as soon as you reach "adulthood" is the product of far more prosperous times and if you look back at history that sort of mind set is the exception not the rule. I'm certainly not ashamed of still living with my parents at this stage.

Back on topic I do wonder how ponies fell about that sort of thing. My guess is that it probably varies, but is generally not looked down upon.

I'd say part of how the Mane 6 would react to it would be depending on whether their parents lived in Ponyville or not. I don't know if Twilight would be too eager to move back to Canterlot.

My guess is that it depends on means. If you're doing so because it's logical and beneficial to those involved I doubt they'd care. If you're being a parasite they probably look down on it.

Not to be bragging, but my situation is actually the opposite of the usual. My family sponges off me, not vice versa.

A funny thing about "Wonderbolts Academy"...I heard that the alternative ending had Lightning Dust apologize and admit she was wrong.

If that's the case, I wonder why they went in the opposite direction. Maybe they thought it would be more realistic that way. It's interesting how MLPFIM is mostly idealistic, but it has some realistic and maybe cynical moments occur from time to time. I know people treat realistic and cynical as interchangeable, but I make the distinction that "cynical" is an extreme end and that "realistic" is in the middle of "idealistic" and "cynical".

I think it might be more to just save time. Whether or not Lightning Dust realized her problem wasn't really important to RD's characterization.
