Ah... well for my own part I do tend to 'check in', yeah. But I mean like, I'm not aware of it slipping away in real time, I just realize I'm now a bit drunker than I was before.
I kind of imagine drunk Twilight would be something like drunk
Yuno.

Do we have a nosebleed macro? 'cause I think I need one after Blissey's post.
Since I didn't see anybody venture an answer to this question...

In a random note, where did this "Celestia has a big flank" bit came from?
I don't know if John Joseco originated this, but his Molestia askblog definitely did a lot to popularize it.

Speaking as someone who used to get nosebleeds all the time, I think the anime thing is really stupid. Actually it's really stupid anyway.
By the way, does anyone else ever feel themselves slipping away when falling asleep?

Nope. For me, it's like closing my eyes for a second, and suddenly a couple of hours have gone by.

I also don't get the appeal of being drunk. But I hate feeling out of control and I only drink water and tea anyway.

I believe she said being drunk is looked down upon in Equestria... which means it's obviously possible.

Well the thing is that as soon as you fall asleep, you immediately forget everything that happened before falling asleep. So you can only really remember it while you're falling asleep. But if you notice it at the time you're more likely to remember it later because it's something specific you noticed rather than just an ordinary feeling.

Well the feeling I notice is when your train of thought starts randomly jumping to disconnected topics constantly. If you're sleepy enough, it will keep happening no matter how hard you try to just thinking about one thing, but you are still aware enough to notice the effect.

I think I should know my mindset falling alseep, given the hours upon hours lying awake in bed being
unable to fall asleep that I've been doing since forever.
Sometimes to the point where I'd rather intentionally stay up until I'm drop-dead exhausted (usually midnight or later) before deciding to crash onto the bed.

What, like... "sir, permission to sit down, sir"?

Heh, that's cute.
Just... be careful not to overdo it. It seems like the kind of gag that could get old
very quickly.
Oh, by the way, re: Fluttershy? I could see her being the quickest to accept him in the end, but there has to be some outside influence, some impetus,
something. I don't imagine her being the type to go up to a stranger just because.

You'd think that after a while the captain would just get fed up and tell him he always has permission. But maybe Batty doesn't care.

Sorry, I haven't seen hot fuzz.
