The sitting on logs doesn't seem ... right. Not really uncanny, but ... odd.

@Pykrete: The old Luna Vs. series. She could listen to wishes that ponies made on stars. She heard her roomate's(Long story) coltfriend wish for a threesome with her and her roommate.

It's the bad apple in comparison to everything else this season has brought. Every episode has been good (The Magic Duel) to outstanding (The Crystal Empire) to Near- Magnum Opus (Too Many Pinkie Pies)

And One Bad Apple, it's about as much of a stand out as "The Last Roundup" or "Sweet and Elite".

This one'll probably end up like the "Winter Wrap Up" or "Fall Weather Friends" episode, outstanding but not meme-y enough or at "Hurricane Fluttershy" levels of profound to become anything more than a good episode hidden away.

But enough about that, ....I've noticed Rarity has become the background pony this season, I hope they do give her one episode. I mean compare season 1 where she nearly rivaled Twilight Sparkle for focus episodes, next season only two, ...now, ....none.

Even AJ has had at least one focus episode per season

Eh... I honestly wasn't blown away by Magic Duel. It was neat while it was there, but didn't stick with me. TMPP was pretty funny, but I honestly thought OBA was around as good as it. I guess I might be biased because I like the CMC a lot, but...

I dunno. I don't feel like I've seen an episode this season, barring the opener, that really got me 'for' a character like the two CMC episodes so far have.

There's not really any nice way to draw digitigrade legs in classical sitting positions.

RD's snoring FAIC reminded me of her face when she pretended to sleep in "Read It and Weep".

So far, I still think Magic Duel is the best episode so far; it felt like it handled everything most evenly. This one was good, but I between Rarity being rather incidental and there being too much setup at the start of the episode, it doesn't quite make the "That was awesome" tier.

There was a slight slant in spotlight last season (Twilight and AJ got demoted, while RD and the CMC got most of the spotlight). Wouldn't surprise me if it happened to some extent this season, though so long as it is with different characters each time it evens out.

Scootaloo and Luna improved this episode no end :3

And then Sweetie Bell forgot how to sing.

I can really think of a favorite episode since I think I've enjoyed TMPP, OBA, and this one roughly equally so far. I didn't really care for Magic Duel at first, and even if I do like it now I don't really care for it as much as the others. And I don't like The Crystal Empire because I just thought it was pretty weak all around.

Crystal Empire is a tough one to place; they aren't bad episodes by any means, but as a two parter I can't help but compare it to the other multi-part episodes, and I don't think it compares the the season 2 double features.

Mio: I think this season started off kinda mediocre. Nothing really bad, but the episodes were kinda meh and a tad too corny to me. I agree The Crystal Empire wasn't that special to me. It had lots of cool ideas but hardly any of them were used fully enough.

The recent couple of episodes are a significant rise in quality.

Personally I thought Too Many Pinkies was the weakest episode of this season so far. Not that it was bad, it was just completely predictable and by-the-numbers.

I thought the Crystal Empire arc was really weak too, especially compared to last season's finale.
