Just a thought on Scootaloo's flying.

As we saw in Baby Cakes, even the infant pegasus could fly so much more than Scoots (well, at least from what we've seen so far). Either the baby was really talented, or Scoots' flight is, well, you know where am I going.

Yeah, I was kind of unsympathetic toward Babs at first, too. Then I remembered how many times in Junior High I accused other guys of being gay just so that conversation wouldn't be had about me. And I was on the *bottom* of the totem pole.

Then I kinda got it.

EDIT: RE Scoots: It's also possible that pegasi just generally have a period during childhood where they can't fly. Probably before their added wingpower catches up with their higher weight. Kind of the equivalent of the "awkward, clumsy teenager" phase humans go through.

It's called a vector.

And yeah, if Babs were older she'd be a lot less sympathetic. But elementary school kids aren't exactly known for being shining beacons of rationality.

Also, even though I can't remember any of the song's words, the tune is on endless repeat.

Also also, I doubt the movie snacks were an ATHF shout out. The only one that matches is the soda/shake. A candy apple isn't a wad of meat, and popcorn isn't fries. That and anthropomorphic food items have been a standby of movie theater ads since forever.
