Just saw the new episode. It was pretty good! Not great, and not really as good as some of the other Pinkie focus episodes, but still pretty good. I'm a bit sad that Pinkie's friends weren't able to pick her out of the crowd, though. I mean, the one who's depressed because she mucked things up doesn't get any consideration? Jeez, Twilight, jerk much? I also kinda feel it might have leaned to heavily on the physical comedy. A lot of it was really good, but some of it pushed more into the real of Cartoon Physics than I like for show, not to mention unintentionally creepy. Those fingers...

But on the whole, a pretty funny episode. I doubt it'll make my favourites list, but I shall remember it fondly.

Oh, also, I'm apparantly Commander Bumpkin the hungry pegasus, destined to discover Canterlot. I... can work with that, actually. It's the 'bumkin' that does it, I think.

It goes fantastic! I really did enjoy that! It had me laughing out loud, and my heart went out to the real Pinkie at times.

Oh dear, I didn't realize Dash had this kind of problem...

So it seems this season has broken the pattern of having a plot-relevant 3rd episode. Think there'll be one between now and the finale or will it be all slice of life from here on out?

People seem to be expecting more continuity this season but I'm not sure. I think it's more likely they'll only get bring return to the stuff hinted in the premiere when we get to the finale.
