Exactly. All the clones were only concerned with having fun, whereas the real Pinkie cared more about her friends.

Everyone was stupid because they didn't bother thinking that the one Pinkie acting differently from EVERY OTHER PINKIE would've been the original.

I think Ginger might like that episode, actually. Pinkie learned her lesson really quick and wasn't portrayed as being completely innocent of everything.

Yeah, that was really good. I was worried about the whole clone thing, but I think they made it pretty obvious that the real Pinkie was the only one who cared more about her friends than about enjoying herself, which made it clear that the clones were just inferior imitations rather than real copies. The clones are basically all of Pinkie's negative traits (obsession with fun to the exclusion of all else) without the tempering factor that the real Pinkie wants her friends to have fun too. The clones obvious didn't care about anypony else.

It's still kinda frightening to see how quick they were to get blasted.
Flanderized they might have been, but I can't help but get the vibe of them being effectively infants with a sort of echo of Pinkie's personality.
