I can imagine the alcohol thing being Celestia's best way to elicit information from someone— inviting them to a private meeting, sharing some wine, and waiting for them to get drunk before they notice that she's unaffected. Then she just sits back and lets them tell everything.
Either that or she pretends to be getting wasted, too, then listens soberly and carefully when they start dropping secrets. It would be a remarkably effective method of interrogating somepony without even tripping their mental burglar alarms; of
course she's going to ask a couple of probing and personal questions, they think — what's it matter, she's drunk!

And already, the first episode of Season 3 have their own Dethroning Moments of Suck entries.
I know, but it still baffles just what can be going through their heads. At this point, they have 26 out of 54 episodes listed as sucking. What the hell?
Yeah, they all seem to just overreact to the comedy and act like every little lapse in logic on either the part of the characters or writer ruins the show forever.
Guys, I think we all need to stop for a moment and appreciate the pun "Luna's moonshine" from last page.
...thank you.
So, I'm reading more of those "what Japan thinks of MLP" things. I notice that,
really often, they say something to the effect of "if this was
Happy Tree Friends, they'd be so dead right now."
I didn't know that Happy Tree Friends was popular in Japan...

I have a message from another time...
Guys, I was trying to find the first review I ever done, because I want to put it in a big essay thing, and I found this from the Bridle Gossip one:
Me: YES. CURSED FLUTTERSHY SINGING. IT'S BEAUTIFUL.
Japanese Teeth: Yup, that's the exact moment that I became a brony.
Me: Oh shit am I a brony now? How will I explain this to my parents...
Japanese Teeth: We got another one.
I find it funny that it was only three months ago...

The metal of your chains is no match for the metal in my veins.
I like the RPG.net community. Mainly the ones surrounding that one guy's Where I Watch threads. It's so much fun to see them theorize and extrapolate. I do so love a work where you can put together a metric ton of headcanon that feels right, and a community that comes up with stuff.

Don't worry. Fluttershy has this effect on people.
Und wenn du lange in einen Abgrund blickst, blickt der Abgrund auch in dich hinein.
Well, they had a point with Sombra; he was roughly as dangerous as a bout of flatulence. His 'evil deeds' basically boiled down to inconvienencing Shining Armor and snarling.
He wasn't so much a villain as an appetizer. Nightmare? Dangerous. Discord?
Fucking dangerous. Chysalis? Dangerous and backed up
by an entire race.
Sombra? A stormcloud with cool eyes.

Listen to the colour of your dreams...
I suppose the Sisters' magic turning him into a shadow
was a decent way of reducing his threat level. I kinda wish we could have seen him at his prime.
So, I'm reading the Japan Reacts thing for Stare Master, and I saw this comment:
00:04:28 QB MARKS?
That's not a good thought.
edit: Pffft. These Japanese guys have some senses of humor. "
They're angels, alright...
