I have been thinking about writing pony fanfics, but I think I will wait until this season ends.

I'm just going to keep writing what I've been writing and hope that Season 3 doesn't screw up any plot points I'm planning on using.
@JT - From what I read so far, I don't think you have to worry about it. I even think that you would have been able to write that with materials from season I alone.

Well, yeah, it's just that some later plot points might involve Twilight's family, and the last thing I want is to characterize them a certain way only for season 3 to disprove it. Although It'll probably take me so long to get to that point that I doubt it'll be a problem.
At the moment, so long as they don't go to the Griffon lands, my work is safe. Some Sea Pony info would be nice though.

Speaking of the S3 Jossing, does anyone want to fix up the
Daring Do page as necessary? I immagine that not much will have to be changed, especially since it's fiction, but you never know.

I'm still bummed that we're getting so few episodes. Hopefully they're twice as awesome to make up for it. The new animation makes me hopeful that will be the case.

@Turtle: I stay logged in, but at the moment it just says "Invited" to all the friends on the social screen (other than Celestia, obviously). I'm not sure whether it's a glitch or whether the people I've sent invites to need to respond or something. I'm kinda guessing it's a glitch, as the little "connect to the social network" mission thing refuses to register as complete, even though I've been to Celestia's version of Ponyville and whatnot.

Yeah, one of the things that got this thread on track was exporting all the derails to Yack Fest. As for Ginger...all I'm going to say is that he had very strong opinions on a lot of things and he had a bit of difficulty reining it in.
