Someone who finally explained what I've wanted to say.

Really though they needed to show positive qualities of dragons to make this episode work, this didn't happen.

Which is why I really wish there would have been at least one dragon other than Spike who was unambiguously nice. Granted, even the teenagers weren't completely terrible. After Spike belly-flopped into the lava, they seemed to genuinely respect him at least a little.

I still say that episode reminds me of a certain plot point in Digger. A certain character is a member of a species that isn't inherently antagonistic, but all others before him have either gone feral or been raised by others of their kind, and the simple fact that he wasn't makes him an anomaly among them.

In a fanfic I read, some of the background ponies, like Lyra and Bon Bon are 16. Wouldn't surprise me too much.

@Librarian: the search system uses tag system formatting syntax that is different from traditional Danbooru-esque syntax (instead of separating tags with spaces and using underscores for multiword tags, they use commas to separate tags)

Pinkie what are you doing in there Terran space marine armor is a joke and offers no protection
